Origin: Malaysia, South East Asia

Known as the mandarin or tangerine, this citrus species grows between 3,5 - 6 m high, and has a wide range of climate tolerance.  It produces an edible fruit, also used to make refreshing drinks.  Essential oils can also be extracted from the skin of the fruit.
