The orange tree can grow up to 8 m in most non-tropical environments.  One of the more commonly known citrus fruits, the orange can be used and prepared in a variety of different ways (as edible fruit, juice, in essential oils, and to perfume other consumable items).  It is renowned for containing a high level of vitamin C.  Types of orange include ‘Valencia’, (grown in Valencia, Spain), ‘Joppa’, (tropical), ‘Ruby Blood’ (red rind & flesh), and ‘Washington Navel’ (a winter fruit).
